Laverne Trip
Since Brian is in Wisconsin, Baylee and I decided to go to Laverne to see the Grandmas. Boy, were we spoiled with good food and sweet company. It was so hard to leave. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family. Not only my precious grandmas, but aunts, uncles, and cousins too. Below are some pictures I took while we were there.

CCAA Update
Referrals are coming in! People are getting calls and referral pictures of their babies. These people are LID (Logged In Date) November 8th thru November 14th, 2005. We are LID September 4th, 2006. This means that there are still 8 and 1/2 months of LID's before us! Yuk! We still celebrate everybody's referral however. It means that more orphans have a forever family. We so hope for a speedup because it has taken 2 months to get through 2 weeks worth of referrals. At this rate it will take another 2 months just to get through November 2005. Let's not even go there and figure out the math to what that would mean for us. The rumor has it that November is a really big month, and that is the reason it is taking so long to get through it. We were at 10 months on July 4th. I did call my adoption agency the other day and she said the wait is still lengthening, and she expects it to get to 2 years for sure, but she doesn't believe it will get to 3 years. I could handle 2 way easier! That would mean we are almost half way there. I will keep praying for our baby in 2008!!!!!

Beautiful Big Meadow!
We could see this gorgeous lake from our campground! I have many wonderful memories of digging for worms with my grandma in that green field and then fishing with my grandad. When I walk around the lake, I can still feel my grandad's presence and hear his voice. It always makes me a bit emotional. I hope that we are creating the same sweet memories for Baylee.
